Silas Houghton Budd

Silas is the director of PREMED. He is a specialist paramedic (critical care) working in both NHS and motorsport medicine roles. His professional

interests include airway care, ECG interpretation and

medical education.

Jamie Webb

Dr Sam Bulford


BSc PgDip


Jamie is a specialist paramedic (urgent

and emergency care) with interests in critical care, risk stratification, and clinical decision making.

He also has expertise in

ECG interpretation.

Lucinda is a Paramedic with nine years experience in prehospital care, currently working towards specialist practice in Primary and Urgent care. Her interests include urgent care and minor injuries, as well as

wellbeing and mindfulness.

As a medical student, Sam spent a lot of his time shadowing paramedics which led to an interest in prehospital emergency medicine and him setting up UCL’s Prehospital Care Programme. 


As a junior doctor, Sam moved to Sydney, Australia where he now works as a Senior Registrar in Emergency Medicine. His interests include

PHEM and trauma.

Rob Goss

Sam Dixon


BSc PgCert

Rob is a Paramedic and Operational Team Leader with seven years experience in prehospital care in

a variety of roles. His main interests

are clinical leadership, human

factors, and trauma care.

Sam has been a specialist paramedic (critical care) for a number of years during which time he has developed clinical interests in airway management, human factors,

and medical education.
