PREMED Ltd – Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of courses, learning content, and associated digital materials (“Services”) provided by PREMED Ltd (“PREMED”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or accessing the Services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Intended Use
PREMED learning materials are provided for continuing professional development (CPD).
They are intended for individuals working in clinical, patient-facing, or healthcare-support roles who remain responsible for their own practice.
The Services do not replace:
• clinical judgment
• employer or service policies
• national guidelines
• supervision or professional oversight
Users must not misrepresent completion of PREMED courses as professional certification, credentialing, or authorisation to undertake tasks outside their scope of practice.
2. Professional Responsibility
You acknowledge that:
• You are responsible for ensuring you hold the competence, training, authority, and regulatory status required for your role.
• PREMED is not responsible for clinical decisions, patient outcomes, operational consequences, or incidents arising from use of course content.
• You must comply with employer protocols and relevant national guidance when applying learning.
Nothing in our content constitutes medical advice or authorisation to practise.
3. Accuracy of Information
PREMED takes reasonable care to ensure content is accurate and evidence-based at the time of publication.
However, medical knowledge evolves and we do not guarantee that content is:
• current
• complete
• free from error
• applicable to every clinical context
You are responsible for checking current guidance before applying learning in practice.
4. Accounts and Access
To use the Services, you must create an account on our learning platform. You agree to:
• provide accurate information
• keep your login details secure
• not share your account with others
• notify us of any unauthorised access
Accounts may be created directly by you or, in the case of corporate enrolments, by your employer or organisation. All accounts are subject to these Terms.
Access to course content is for the named account holder only.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Licence, Intellectual Property & Misuse
All PREMED content — including videos, graphics, animations, assessments, trademarks, and written materials — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services for your own learning.
You must not:
• copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercialise PREMED content
• create derivative works based on PREMED content
• publish PREMED content online or offline
• scrape, extract, or reverse-engineer any materials
• share your login or allow others to access your account
All PREMED trademarks, including PhEDECs® and PRONE™, remain the exclusive property of PREMED Ltd. No licence to use these trademarks is granted.
We may revoke access for misuse and may pursue legal action in cases of deliberate plagiarism, copying, or unauthorised distribution.
6. CPD Accreditation and Certification
Certificates confirm only that you have completed the specified educational activity.
Some courses carry external CPD accreditation (e.g., CPDUK). Where applicable, this is displayed clearly on the course image.
Certification—whether issued by PREMED or an external CPD body—does not:
• constitute a qualification
• confirm competence
• authorise independent practice
• override employer policies or clinical governance requirements
7. Payments, Refunds and Cancellations
Payments for individual courses are processed through our learning platform. Refunds may be provided in accordance with UK consumer law.
Once course content has been accessed, refunds may not be available unless legally required.
Corporate or organisational purchases are governed by separate contractual or purchase-order terms and are not subject to consumer refund rights.
8. Availability of Services
We aim to maintain continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Access may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, updates, or platform issues.
We are not liable for outages caused by third-party platforms, including Thinkific.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PREMED excludes all implied warranties and accepts no liability for:
• direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss
• loss of profits, business interruption, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or reputational harm
• clinical decisions, patient outcomes, or operational consequences
• reliance on information contained in the Services
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive essential service emails relating to:
• account access
• course delivery
• certificates
• password resets
• service notifications
Marketing communications are sent only where we have valid consent or where soft opt-in applies.
You may withdraw consent at any time.
11. Data Protection
PREMED processes personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Full details are provided in our Privacy Policy, including:
• categories of data we process
• lawful bases (performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent where applicable)
• data processors (including Thinkific, Zapier, Brevo)
• international transfers
• how to exercise your data rights
12. Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms of Use periodically.
Material changes will be announced on our website or learning platform.
Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
